This is why Lydia rocks:

This is Lydia:

This is Lydia again:

(I stole these pictures of her facebook and couldn't decide which picture I liked better, so I took both.)

Lydia is my dear friend and even better friends with my brother, Niels, and she is the sweetest person alive. She gave me the coolest Christmas gift - an antique pendant she made into a necklace and a big, bright, awesome butterfly hair clip. She gave me a cloth bracelet one day because she was sick and had nothing better to do than to make bracelets for people. (What?? I know, right?) She gave me a cute pair of earrings she made the other day, for no reason! Tonight she brought by these adorable (and fuzzy - thank you camera phone) cupcakes (for no reason in particular, again) because she is the best.

Also, for the record, even if Lydia wasn't always showering me with gifts, I would still love her because she is so sweet and such a good, kind person.

Love her!

Botchi Bag

I was talking on the phone to one of my favorite cousins in the whole wide world (who I haven't talked to in forever), when the Faj Mahal told me to hurry up because "I really need your help testing something out." He came again 4 minutes later, so I got off the phone.

I go downstairs and the Faj is holding a little yellow bag. "Say you're out in the wilderness somewhere and you get stranded and its really cold. And say you just pull out your botchi bag..." So then he pulls out this bag and makes me sit underneath the bag with him. Each person sits on the bag so it is stretched around both of you, and it gets extremely hot. And we are never in such close physical proximity to each other. Then he wants to try it out with some poles. (That's when I ran and got my camera really quick because I thought it was a little bit funny.)

Then he gets extremely claustrophobic and struggles to break free. This is him struggling to get loose:

My dad is so great. And he loves his gear so much. Closets and shelves full so much.

So, one of my besties for life, Celia Jane Schmutz, got home from her mission last week. She got even cuter on her mission.

But seriously, she really IS super cute.

See? Cute even when she's still wearing missionary clothes.

I have loved having lots of Schmutz time - especially with the out of town Schmutzes - and it's so nice to have a best friend right down the street.

Clark and Kent try on belts from Argentina. So hot.

Clark singing to Celia about how kissing is no longer a sin for her and how she should totally kiss boys.

And just because she's smaller than me, she thinks she can pose in a girly way by wrapping her arm around my stomach, making me look manly. Awesome. I love it so much.

Kewl teens. (Especially Kent and Niels.)

Aren't Chent and the bf-ster so cute? I heart Andy's beard so much. He's so manly.
